Student Life

Social life with a unique spirit 

The social life at the Mikkeli Campus is energized by what is known as the Baba Spirit – a rare sense of unity that creates memories to cherish, lifelong friendships and an experience one will never forget.

For some the Baba Spirit means a variety of social activities, for others a sense of commitment and belonging. Whatever your own definition will be, you will have a chance to form exceptionally tight bonds as well as valuable connections.

All Mikkeli Campus students become members of the Aalto University student union AYY and Mikkeli’s own student organization, Probba. The students can also join the Association of Economics Students in Helsinki (KY ry). These organizations and BScBA students as a whole actively organize free-time activities and events. In addition, two clubs, SkiBBA (ski and floorball club) and Hook (golf club), unite sports fans and organize trips, games, courses and other fun.
