Aalto University School of Business is a member university of the CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education, previously known as Community of European Management Schools) network. The CEMS is a strategic alliance of 28 member schools around the world – each a top school of its country – and over 70 prestigious corporate partners.
The CEMS Master's in International Management provides a unique blend of top-level education and professional experience for multilingual, multicultural postgraduate students. The CEMS Corporate Partners of Aalto are Kone and Nokia.
Students have the opportunity to take CEMS MIM programme in addition to their Masters degree programme. CEMS MIM is a one year's specialisation programme in international management. The CEMS MIM curriculum has been jointly designed by CEMS Schools and the Corporate Partners. At graduation, CEMS students receive both a MSc degree certificate and a CEMS MIM certificate. CEMS MIM has a high recognition among the corporate sector. In 2012, CEMS MIM was ranked 3rd by the Financial Times among Masters in Management programmes.
The CEMS MIM programme starts with an intensive Blocked Seminar followed by CEMS Core Courses, Skill Seminars, exchange term abroad and internship. The CEMS way of studying is an intensive networking experience between students, alumni, teachers, and corporate representatives.
