The collaboration of the Aalto University School of Business with business life is based on customer-friendly services, cooperative research projects and long-term partnerships. As services in research, we offer master's theses, student business projects and extensive research projects, all applicable to the needs of companies.
The Corporate Relations of the Aalto University School of Business aims at increasing the school's interface with business life. The School of Business has active cooperation with leading Finnish enterprises.
Corporate Relations provides services to companies by means of a Partnership Programme, Lecture Hall Sponsoring and linking of research with corporate needs.
The Partnership Programme provides an entry point into the School of Business and liaises enterprises with faculty.
Lecture Hall Sponsoring is one way for companies and other organizations to support students at the School of Business by contributing to the maintenance of high standard teaching premises.
We also organize annual, top-class events as builders of bridges between the academic community and companies, and the packaging of different forms of cooperation into a partnership agreement.
Burkina Faso - Building a well for for an elementary school
The customized project concept of the Aalto University School of Economics showed its versatility in a concrete way in the case of Burkina Faso. The challenging task was to provide better circumstances for everyday life for a poor community. A well was established near an elementary school situated in the city of Dedougou in Burkina Faso. The well brought clean drinking water to the school and local inhabitants and enabled the practice of agriculture.
