New key appointments at Aalto EE – fresh international expertise from HEC Paris

Aalto University Executive Education (Aalto EE) has reinforced its operations with the following key appointments.
Eliza Hochman has been appointed Competence Manager. Hochman joins Aalto EE from one of Europe's leading business schools, HEC Paris. She specializes in customized strategy programs and solution design.
Jaana Tammisto and Tiina Häikiö have been appointed as Senior Advisors at Aalto EE. Tammisto is an experienced service management expert. Her previous positions include Managing Director at Suomen Matkatoimisto and Sales Director at Kaleva Travel. Tammisto will focus on developing Aalto EE's Asian operations. Häikiö has held leading sales and management positions at, for example, Oracle, Itella, and Finlandia Hall. In recent years, she has worked as a consultant with several development projects including Trainer's House. At Aalto EE, Häikiö will develop solution sales and processes. She will also work as interim Head of Sales and a member of the Group Management Team.
Mikko Laukkanen has been appointed Head of Thought Leadership at Aalto EE and will also serve in the Group Management Team. Thought Leadership function supports the aims for increasing Aalto EE's awareness in the international market. Before joining the ranks of Aalto EE, Laukkanen spent a semester at UC Berkeley to finish his doctoral thesis, which examines the challenges of modern-day innovation initiatives and reasons for their failure. He previously worked as a researcher at the Aalto University School of Business.
The other two new members of the Aalto EE Group Management Team are Executive Director Kati Illikainen and Business Area Director Minna Wickholm. Illikainen's areas of responsibility include Aalto EE's operations in Singapore, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Wickholm will be responsible for Executive Programs and Networks. Illikainen's previous responsibilities as a program director have included Aalto Executive MBA, International Week, and several company-specific solutions. Wickholm has previously worked as Account Director.
