Management Appointments at the Aalto University Executive Education

The Board of the Aalto University Executive Education has confirmed the company’s strategic direction for the next five years’ planning horizon. The company is seeking strong profitable growth and aiming for doubling its size by the end of 2016.
The Group Managing Director of Aalto University Executive Education Dr. Pekka Mattila confirms the following appointments September 5th onwards. They are derived from the newly approved strategy.
Business Units
Dr. Minna Hiillos has been appointed as the Business Area Director, Degree Programs. She serves also as the Academic Dean of the degree programs and as the deputy to the Managing Director.
Ms. Hannele Järvenpää has been appointed as the Business Area Director, Open Programs and Forums.
Ms. Marja Maijala been appointed as the Business Area Director, Customized Solutions. Formerly, she used serve as the Managing Director of the Executive School of Business at the University of Technology.
Dr. Jari Talvinen continues as the Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific operations.
Matrix Functions
Ms. Kirsi Gyldén has been appointed as the Head of Solutions and Contents.
Ms. Sari Sevón been appointed as the Head of Projects and Processes.
Ms. Leena Huotari has been appointed as the Senior Account Director, New Business. She is also in charge of the Leadership Lab and method development.
Ms. Raija Kuokkanen has been appointed as the Senior Account Director, Account Management.
The Head of Accounts and Sales will be appointed in few weeks’ time.
Driver Functions
Ms. Elina Kaivola has been appointed as the Head of Profit, Finance Director. She is in charge of the finance and controlling functions.
Ms. Mari Rauhala been appointed as the Head of Advancement. She is in charge of the HR and ICT functions.
