Dean Ingmar Björkman
D.Sc. (Econ.) Ingmar Björkman (born 1959) received his PhD from the Hanken School of Economics (Finland) after having done parts of his studies at Stanford University. Prior to joining Aalto University he was Professor of Management and Organization at the Hanken School of Economics, where he served as Dean of Research and Internationalization during and Head of the Department of Management and Organization.
Having taught at a number of business schools in Europe and Asia, Björkman has received teaching awards from Hanken School of Economics, Fudan University (Shanghai), and INSEAD (Singapore). Ingmar Björkman’s research area is International Management, with a particular focus on people management issues in multinational corporations.
Vice Dean (Teaching and Learning) Seppo Ikäheimo
D.Sc. (Econ.) Seppo Ikäheimo (born 1963) is Professor of Accounting, with a particular focus on Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation. Seppo Ikäheimo is the Director of the Aalto University School of Business Bachelor´s Programme based in Helsinki. He has been engaged in Aalto University School of Business (formerly Helsinki School of Economics) since 1999.
Ikäheimo has visited a number of foreign universities as a visiting teacher and researcher.
As Vice Dean, Professor Seppo Ikäheimo is responsible for teaching and learning.
Vice Dean (Research and International Cooperation) Rebecca Piekkari
D.Sc. (Econ.) Rebecca Piekkari has been engaged in Aalto University School of Business (formerly Helsinki School of Economics) as the Professor of International Business and in particular international management since 2004. She has previously acted as the Vice Head of the Department of Marketing and Management and the leader of the CEMS Master's degree programme.
Rebecca Piekkari has visited a number of foreign universities as a teacher and researcher.
As Vice Dean, Professor Rebecca Piekkari is responsible for research and international cooperation.
